1. Service Description
BookDMV is an independent appointment monitoring and booking service. We monitor DMV appointment availability and notify you when slots become available, or book them on your behalf. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any Department of Motor Vehicles or government agency.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this service. By creating an account, you represent that you are eligible and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Payments & Refunds
All purchases are one-time payments processed through Stripe. If our service fails to find or book an appointment during your monitoring period, you may request a credit refund. Credits are applied to your BookDMV account and can be used toward any future purchase. We do not issue cash refunds. Refunds are not available if an appointment was successfully booked or if alerts were delivered as described.
4. No Guarantee
We do not guarantee that an appointment will be found or booked. Appointment availability varies by state and location and is outside our control. We provide a best-effort monitoring service.
5. Authorization to Act as Your Agent
By purchasing and activating an Auto-Book request, you expressly authorize BookDMV to act as your appointed agent to schedule DMV appointments on your behalf. This includes using your personal information (such as your name, date of birth, and license number) to secure an appointment matching your preferences. You acknowledge that BookDMV will act on your behalf and that any appointment booked through the service is made in your name and is your responsibility to attend or cancel. You are solely responsible for selecting the appropriate service from the available options when creating your request. BookDMV will book the exact service you select and is not responsible for incorrect service selections. This authorization remains in effect for the duration of your active Auto-Book request and ends when the request expires, is cancelled, or an appointment is successfully booked.
6. Account & Data
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Personal information you provide (such as name, date of birth, and license number) is used solely to complete bookings on your behalf and is encrypted at rest. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.
7. Prohibited Use
You may not use the service to resell or scalp appointments, interfere with DMV systems, or violate any applicable law. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the service.
8. Limitation of Liability
BookDMV is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for missed appointments, DMV system outages, or any indirect damages arising from your use of the service.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, software, and branding associated with BookDMV are our property or the property of our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without our written permission. Your use of the service does not grant you any ownership rights.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms or abuse the service. You may delete your account at any time by visiting our contact page. Upon termination, your personal data will be deleted in accordance with our privacy policy.
12. Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any disputes arising from your use of the service will first be resolved through informal negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the State of Colorado.
13. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
